Ok folks, I admit it...I'm an A.I. freak. It's the musician and critic in me.
So who's gonna win it? Taylor or Kat?
My money's on Taylor.

I thought Justin and Kelly were in the finals.
Oh, yeah, I haven't been a big fan. Too much over singing in my opinion. I heard the bald guy sing on some news show and he did a really good job of "Dead or Alive" by Bon Jovi. I'm guessing that he is no longer in the running.

Um...Paul, where you been on this? He's been off for a couple weeks!
Justin & Kelly...good one.

I think Taylor's going to win. Kat just didn't seem to compete like she
usually does last night. She's usually shrewd and plays to the camera. I
didn't notice it much last night.

My favorite, Elliot was booted last week so I don't care anymore.

I've watched 4 minutes, literally, of A.I. in my entire life...and I wish I had those minutes back.

Well, I'm PROUD to say I freakin' love American Idol. In fact I'm watching right now

Graylor all the way. Elliot was pretty ich' too. And Kat is a beautiful woman, but I can't dig on her voice as much.
I think the one show of this nature worth watching was Nashville Star, where the emphasis was on performing songwriters like Miranda Lambert.

With Pro Tools, pitch correction software, etc. even my dog could cut an album of decent covers, but writing a song still takes some talent.
Yeah, MUCH better competition!

American Idol could be leaps and bounds better if they would let the contestants play instruments in the final rounds. I can sing, but I'm much more comfortable with a guitar in my hands. I can imagine it would add another needed dimension to the show.

I agree with you there Don. Taylor seemed much more in his element blowing on that harp. Although, sometimes I get so caught up in playing, that I forget to sing.

I wish I could magically make expressive singers with pro tools.
